The HAF Collective brings together three organizations with complementary expertise: the Riverfront Arts District shapes the festival experience and arts programming, Al Smith Productions provides event operations and production, and the Riverfront Esplanade contributes its distinctive riverfront location and operational support.
Through this collaboration, the organizations create a richer and more engaging Halifax Art Festival while expanding opportunities for artists, students, and festival goers. Together, they strengthen the festival’s impact and help ensure that the arts continue to inspire, connect, and thrive in our community.
About Riverfront Arts District
Riverfront Arts District (RAD) is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit arts organization dedicated to strengthening our community through art, creativity, collaboration, and meaningful cultural experiences.
RAD proudly serves as the new steward of the Halifax Art Festival, continuing a beloved Daytona Beach tradition while building upon its legacy for future generations.
Through initiatives including the Halifax Art Festival, Daytona Beach Arts Fest, Arts VoCo Season of the Arts, and other community partnerships and programs, RAD brings together professional artists, students, educators, businesses, nonprofit organizations, sponsors, patrons, and community leaders to make the arts more visible, accessible, and impactful throughout Volusia County.

As a partner in the 64th Annual Halifax Art Festival, Al Smith Productions plays a key role in the planning and execution of the event, helping coordinate site logistics, food vendors, entertainment, city communications, and the many behind-the-scenes elements that bring a large-scale community festival to life.

The Riverfront Esplanade is a premier gathering space and botanical garden stretching more than a mile along the Halifax River in the heart of Downtown Daytona Beach. Operated by the Brown Riverfront Esplanade Foundation (BREF), a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization, the Esplanade was thoughtfully revitalized to create a vibrant waterfront destination where the community can gather, connect and enjoy the beauty of the riverfront for generations to come.
With its lush gardens, scenic waterfront setting and inviting public spaces, the Riverfront Esplanade provides a distinctive backdrop for community experiences and signature events.
